Sian is Chief Executive Officer and founder of Correla Limited, a SaaS and technology managed services company.

Correla creates products which help participants in the complex UK energy market manage their interactions with different segments of the market more seamlessly and cost effectively, and Correla helps everyone make better decisions from the huge volume of data that these interactions generate.

In addition, Correla manages some large and complex technology platforms for the sector, which connect into and help manage data flows across Critical National Infrastructure.

Sian founded Correla in 2020, as a carve out from one of the monopoly service providers in the centre of the market, winning hearts and minds to the benefit of private ownership and private investment in innovation, at a point when the sector most needs investors to back the UK’s journey to net zero.

Correla is now backed by Northedge Capital, a Manchester based mid-market Private Equity fund.

Prior to founding Correla, Sian held a number of senior positions at British Telecom (BT). Most notably, she was responsible for BT’s wholesale broadband portfolio, doubling the speed and coverage of copper broadband availability in the UK during her tenure.

She has also held a number of Chief Information Officer and digital strategy roles at BT and subsequently at Clarks, spanning both large infrastructure and consumer facing technologies and business models.

Sian is also a non-executive director and the Deputy Chair of the UK Statistics Authority which oversees the Office Of National Statistics and the Office of Statistics Regulation.

Alongside a background in data analytics systems, Sian’s main area of specialism is how to bring about significant technology transformation, where cultural, employee and customer transformation are required in parallel.

Sian studied Artificial Intelligence at Sussex University and management at Harvard Business School.
